    Greenwoods New Town Application

    Between Barton le Clay and Silsoe, the potential new town of over 3,850 new homes will treble the size of Barton le Clay, destroy greenbelt land and forever change the landscape of this area of Mid Bedfordshire. 10,000+ additional residents queuing on already over crowded roads both south into Luton & North across the already gridlocked Clophill roundabout and into stationary Bedford traffic.

    If we actually need these new homes and I would question that premis, why not build them closer to either Luton or Bedford so that the new residents could use public transport rather than all requiring a car to make every journey?
